PHOTO GLASS SLIDES. (about 120 slides). Boxes with photo glass slides, "Projection für Alle", 82 glass slides, size 83x83, original paper boxes. Undated, but about 1900-1910. Good condition.
The boxes as follows: 3. Dresden und die Sächsische Schweiz (24, numbered 1-24), 33. Wanderungen durch die Schweiz. III. Luzern und der Vierwaldstätter See (24, numbered 1-24), 45. Don Quichotte von der Mancha (10, numbered 1-10), 66. Schneewittchen und die 7. Zwerge. Der gestiefelte Kater (24, numbered 1-24). +

The company "Projection für Alle" was founded by Max Skladanowsky (1863-1939), a German inventor and early filmmaker, inventor of the Bioskop (1895), an early movie projector. He dispalyed the first moving picture show to a paying audience on November 1, 1895, about two months before the public debut of the Lumière Brother´s technically superior Cinématographe.
