Contemporary brown blindtooled full leather, worn, brass fittings (lacks clasps and straps), somewhat faded spine in six compartments, defective handwritten later spine label, uppe edge with inkstains, foreedge with handwritten title. A few marginal tears and holes, some marginal dampstaining, some foxing, partly with inkstains, some leaves browned.
Domingo de Soto (1494-1560), Dominican priest and scholastic theologian. Wrote important commentaries to Aristotle´s Physics, which in part influenced Galilei.
The work present in political philosophy, first published in 1553, is maybe his most wellknown.
