MAGIC LANTERN, METAL. "The Standard Magic Lantern", table model, made by Ernst Planck, Germany. Early 1900. About 130 x110 mms, including legs, excluding objectives. With burner, 2 objectives, and viewing metal tube.
In somewhat worn original black cloth wooden box, with the instruction sheet mounted in the lid. Also 12 glass slides, 35x125 mms, with coloured motifs of playing children, circus, comic figures. Good condition.

With a metal label "A. W. Gamage Ltd. Holborn London. Made in Bavaria".
