Oblong 4:o. Engraved title, engraved dedication with engraved vignette and 2 engraved "initials", 41 engraved pages of text (lacks p. 42 with engraved vignette), 11 engraved plates (of 12, lacks "Apollon", some foxing).
Contemporary brown full leather, worn, gilt borders, gilt armorial ornaments on middle of covers, one dated 1720, richly gilt spine in compartments, all edges gilt. Minor foxing, 1 leaf with pencil scribbling. Bookplate of C. G. Lieven.
