Title with small damage in outer margin, dampstained in lower part, some foxing, partly browned in the margins. Taken out of binding. Rare.
A shortened version of his Cosmographia from 1524. The book was published in more than 45 various editions in four languages, published in seven cities by at least eighteen publishers, during a period of about 100 years. The present shortened edition first appeared in Antwerpen in 1532 or 1533. This 1535 edition counts as the second of the shortened editions, and the first of at least seven such produced in Italy during the sixteenh century.
