MASSENET, JULES (2). (1790-1869), French composer. Autograph letter signed "Massenet". 3 pages in small 8vo, dated Paris 8 March (18)49. And one other. 2 items.
Together with a visiting card of French composer Gustave Chapentier (1860-1956). Charpentier among others wrote the opera "Louise" in 1900.
One of Massenet´s most famous work is the opera Manon.
