Folio. (20), 406 pp. With 4 woodcut vignettes, and title with woodcut frame.
Contemporary pigskin binding, partly worn and with stains, covers richly decorated with blindtooled ornaments and gilt text, with letters C M and year 1564 on upper cover, H M I on lower cover, spine in five compartments. First free endpaper partly loose. Inside of cover with engraved cut by Virgil Solis, and bookplate.
Somewhat foxed, leaf 403 loose, some small tears to margins.
