Contemporary brown full leather, worn and faded, partly stained and with some damages, gilt ornament on upper cover, partly faded, gilt spine in compartments, cracks in the hinges. Partly some marginal dampstaining, minor foxing. A few marginal annotations to text and inside of cover, underlining to text. Engraved armorial bookplate.
