S4 as usual). 1 engraved frontispiece portrait (foxed), 1 large folding engraved map about 58x56 cm, some minor tears, offsetting), 15 engraved plates, of which 5 coloured (all, 3 slightly dampstained, mostly to margins, about 5 slightly dampstained in upper margin, some minor foxing, offsetting), 6 leaves of engraved music.
Half calf, worn and with damages, spines with dark red title labels, split hinges, vol. I loose in binding, small tear in outer margin on page 265-316. Bookplate A. H. Bosanquet. 2 volumes.

According to Bring two editions were printed the same year, this edition is the younger one with the printer´s name on bottom of the title leaves and on the last page of each part.
