First edition of Orta was published in Goa in 1563 and Monardes in Seville 1565. Depicts herbal plants, amongst others a tobacco plant.

Binding partly worn, text closely trimmed, sometimes with letter or textloss, some worming to margins, some spotting and soiling. First title with repair, some letter loss, some ink scribble, some old notes to margins.
