FORE-EDGE PAINTING. The Book of Common Prayer... London (C. Whittingham) no date (about 1801).
Small 8:o (135x81 mm.).
Contemporary red straightt-grained morocco gilt, covers with central gilt lozenge, gilt edges of covers, gilt spine in five compartments, all edges gilt, with fore-edge painting of Woolwich with ships in the foreground. Some minor foxing. Old annotations and signature on first endpaper.
Slightly worn binding, some minor foxing.
