OLD MANUSCRIPT OF COOKERY BOOK (CAKES ETC). "Koch Buch worinnen 481...". Probably early 18th century manuscript written in German of about 400 leaves containing 500 recipes. All recipes numbered 1-500 and with an index at the end. Deals mainly with cakes.
4to (210x165 mm).
Contemporary blindtooled pigskin on wooden boards, worn and soiled, split joints, worming, warped covers, spine in compartments, red edges. Text with some spotting and soiling, some worming. Signature on flyleaf.
