8:o. (7), viii-xiv, (2), (1)-624 pp. Engraved frontispiece (foxed, browned in the margins), engraved extra title with vignette (browned in the margins), 38 engraved plates H. K. Browne (all, partly browned in the margins, some foxing, some offsetting from plates to text).
Later (20th century) brown half leather, gilt spine with red label. (Frosta bokbinderi AB). Minor foxing. Gift inscription dated 1855 on first endpaper. Bookplate of Lennart Båveryd. First book edition.
Both the engraved and printed titles dated 1850.
