Oblong small 4:o. Steelengraved extra titles, about 980 steelengraved plates (some offsetting fom text to plates, partly with foxing and staining, some plates with the tissue-paper fastend to the plate).
Contemporary brown half leather, worn and with damages, cracks in the joints, some lacking spines.
Text with some foxing and spotting, dampstaining and soiling, some folds. Later signature on first endpaper.17 volumes.
