Contemporary brown half leather, worn, cracks in the joints, faded spine in five compartments, damages at head and foot, Partly foxed, about 10 leaves harder. Some old marginal annotations. Partly erased signature on title. Old annotation on first endpaper. Signature of Gabr. Branting on inside of upper cover. Bookplate of Ivar D. Wallerius.
Soulsby 51. Hulth 5. Sixth i.e. the 3rd original edition, dedicated to count Tessin. The edition was completely rewritten by Linnaeus and heavily enlarged. This is also the first illustrated edition.
