Contemporary brown half leather, worn, partly mended in the joints, gilt somewhat faded spines, vol. I mended at head, new inner doublures. Some minor foxing or spotting. Signature of Rob. E. Fries on first endpapers. +

8:o. 40 lithograph plates (all, foxed, 10 harder, 4 dampstained in upper margin).
Different brown or black half leather, 2 contemporary mended in the joints and hinges, gilt faded spines, one with new inner doublures and endpapers, 3 later with gilt spines (bound by Hedberg). Partly foxed and spotted, partly harder. Monogram stamp "AVSt" on some leaves. 7 volumes.

Provenance: Collecta Friesia. Elias Fries (1794-1878), famous Swedish mycologist and botanist. His most important work was "Systema mycologicum" published in 1821-32, Thore M. Fries (1832-1913), Robert Fries (1876-1966), Magnus Fries (1917-1987), Robert Fries (b. 1952).
