4to. Engraved frontispiece portrait, (2), XXXII, 426, (8), 427-483 pp. 9 engraved plates (lacks 1 portrait and 1 plate). The plates are after Gravelot. Large copy. Slight foxing and some gatherings with browning.
Later half calf, slightly worn, richly gilt spine with five raised bands and red label, top edge red the other untrimmed (Haas-Depas, Bel liège). Some spotting and foxing.
