Contemporary marbled calf, somewhat worn, gilt frame, gilt inner frame, gilt spine in six compartments, gilt edges. Throughout stained in outer margin, some foxing. Rare.

Extract from the original edition of Oeuvres from 1683, made in about 10-15 copies for distribution to "great persons" and friends.
