About 810 x 1350 mm (with margins). With a large index to streets and places on both side of the map.
The map was mounted on linen and dissected in its 40 segments, but at some point the linen was removed from the backs of the segments and reassembled to form a regular non folding map.
Some minor spotting, minor holes and some minor tears mostly to the margins, partly buckled with some creases.
A rare early edition.
Charles Picquet was the main publisher of Paris maps during the Empire, constantly updating them with the great building works of Napoleon. It is dedicated to Joachim Murat who was Napoleon´s brother in law, Governor of Paris and Marshal of France.
