26 x 18 cm. (7) pages of text, instructions for bookbinder (3 pp), 24 illustrations after Ernst´s notebook and 2 signed and numbered monochrome (1 blue, 1 black) lithographic plates. Discouloring in lower edge of signed lithograph in black.
Unbound, in chemise with printed spine and cloth slipcase. Lithographic plates signed by Max Ernst and numbered 16/77.
Provenance: Stefan Schueler (1920-2015), Swedish art book dealer who in 1972 opened / founded the specialized art book shop "Konst-Bibliofilen" in the Old Town, Stockholm, which lasted for 25 years.
