P. A. and notes of its sale on front board inside. Owner´s monogram signature in ink on first title. First title in red and black. Red chinese stamp on both titles. Foxing, minor stains and some browning. Wormhole in inner margin from first title to p. 4.
Pagination somewhat confused by binder, but otherwise a good copy.
Soulsby 1095a, Hulth 129. First edition of Linnaeus´ description of queen Louisa Ulrica´s natural cabinet at Drottningholm which included material collected by Kalm, Osbeck, Hasselquist and others. In his 12th edition of the "Systema" Linnaeus refers to the entomological and conchological part of the work.
