Later (early 20th century) full brown marbled calf, gilt borders, gilt inner borders, gilt edges of covers, richly gilt spine in six compartments, gilt upper edge, otherwise uncut. Some foxing.
Second expanded edition. First issued in 1769, this offers around 60 pages of advice on breeding matches, desirable breeds and the like. The remainder of the book has pages for record keeping as it is assumed that cocks do not have long careers.
