Contemporary brown mottled calf, somewhat worn, gilt borders, gilt inner borders, gilt edges of covers, gilt somewhat faded spine, some small damages at head and foot, marbled edges. Bookseller´s label on inside of upper cover "Librairie F. Savy, Paris", bookplate of "Ex bibliotheca Michaelis Chasles Acad. Scientiar. Socii."
