8vo. 198 x 135 mm. VIII, 392, (8) pp. With 2 engraved plates (1 on beekeeping) and 3 engraved vignettes in the text. Contemporary calf with gilt spine with red and black labels, red edges and gilt coats-of arms on boards. Somewhat worn, dark stain on front board. A few minor stains, recurring faint damp in top margin. Signature and stain with ink on title.
The coats-of-arms probably belonging to an affiliation of Louis XV.
Provenance: From the library of Ove Hassler (1904-1987), Dean in Linköping, Sweden, and his son, Eivind Hassler (1939-2009).
