Contemporary vellum, stained. Dampstains throughout, more articulated in the last third, stains and repairs to edges. Printed and engraved titles repaired in edges. Tear in lower part of 3 plates. Loss of paper and of a few words in lower line p. 159/-60. Plate at p. 250 mounted on newer paper. Small holes with loss of a couple of letters pp. 549/-50. Clipping from half title (?) mounted on front board inside.

The Dutch original was published in 1680.
