Small folio (327x222 mm). 3 original lithographs in colours by Max Ernst, 2 of which are signed and laid in.
Original black illustrated paper covered boards, with plastic cover. Binding partly worn and rubbed to edges. Limited edition, "deluxe issue", no 82 of 111 copies, signed by Werner Spies and Erhart Kästner.
Includes 3 full-page original colour lithographs by Max Ernst, coulor variants of Jenseits der Malerei. 2 of them are printed on Japan paper, signed and numbered in pencil by Max Ernst and unbound.

Provenance: Stefan Schueler (1920-2015), Swedish art book dealer who in 1972 opened / founded the specialized art book shop "Konst-Bibliofilen" in the Old Town, Stockholm, which lasted for 25 years.
