Somewhat worn contemporary calf with gilt spine with 5 raised bands, bords with double gilt filets and all edges red. Some minor foxing and stains. Stain in inner margin pp. 322-3.Partly cut out exlibris on front board inside. Owner´s stamp on front fly leaf.
First edition. Bernard Forest de Belidor (1698-1761) was a French mathematician and engineer, most famous for his work on hydraulics.
