Supplement volume repaired at spine head and foot. Some foxing.Stamp JOH (J. O. v. Hauswolff) on titles, on first endpapers the signature of A. W. Petersen. 3 volumes.
Adam Gottlob Moltke (1710-1792), Danish count and ord stewart, page to Crown Prince Christian (VI), later the educator of Christian VI´s son Frederik (V), who became closely attached to him. Appointed lord chamberlain in 1743. When Frederik V succeeded to the Throne in 1746, Moltke was appointed lord stewart and became the leading personality in the government.
