Well-preserved contemporary mottled calf with gilt spines and board edges, all edges marbled. The plate in volume I torn, clean text. Owner´s signature on front fly leaves. 2 volumes.
(Oeuvres de Jean Jaques Rousseau, tomes dixieme & onzieme, though spine numerals read XI and XII respectively). Printed the year after the first Paris edition of the work.
