"Allegorical figures showing London before and after the fire (1666), to the right is London languishing, being rescued by Time, while on the left king Charles II stands surrounded by Fortitude, Victory, Justice, Liberty, Architecture and Natural Sciences, the backdrop on the left is of construction with scaffolding, while on the right smoke billows from the walls of a building, Peace and Plenty shown in the central sky" (British Museum).
Some minor tears to margins, some creases, a few minor repairs.
