8vo. 212 x 125 mm. (12), 502, (4) pp. Woodcut frontispiece. Illustrated with woodcuts and numerous examples of type. A few minor stains. Stain on title, mirrored on frontispiece. Faint damp in margin pp. 105-18. Near contemporary half calf with gilt spine with 5 raised bands and red label, marbled boards and yellow edges. Spine extremities worn, front board nearly loose. Notes with pencil on board insides.
