Engraving with original hand colouring in outline, a cartouche depicting chinese musicians, vases, flowers etc, c. 495 x 540 mm. On thick paper. Wide margins.

The map was issued for the first edition of ", Atlas Universel", published by Robert
Vaugundy (1723- 1768). An early example of French scientific carthograpy in the school of D´Anville and De L´Isle, no decorative elements on the map, just the surveyed lands.
