LENINGRAD. 21 original photographs of Leningrad (today St. Petersburg) in a tourist folder. 1967. Portfolio oblong folio (305 x 470 mm).
21 original colour photographs on thick photo paper and mounted on paper boards. Housed in a paper portfolio with title in gilt and a view of the city at the front. Captions at the back of each photo in Russian, English, French and German.
The folder contains photos of Leningrad from the mid 1960s in the typical garish colours of the era.
The photos depict: Yelagin Palace in Kirov central park, St. Isaac´s square and the building of the executive committe of the Leningrad City Soviet, Palace square and the State Hermitage (former Vinter Palace), Piskaryovskoye memorial cemetery-museum, View of the Peter and Paul fortress, Mars Fields, Nevsky Prospekt, View of Leningrad from St. Isaac´s cathedral, Palace square and the building of the former General headquarters, The Moika river, "Alley heroes" in the Moskovsky victory park, Square near Technological institute, Cruiser "Aurora" at eternal mooring, Novoizmaylovsky prospekt, Tauride palace, In Moskovsky prospekt, St. Isaac´s square and St. Isaac´s Cathedral museum, View of the Neva from Vasilyevski island, Monument to A. S. Pushkin in Arts square and the State Russian museum, Decembrists square and the monument to Peter I "the Bronze horseman", Monument to V. I. Lenin in front of the Smolny.

The folder partly damaged and with some tears, some scratches to the back and a few spots, some of the boards with a slight crease. 1 photo with a small rubbing.
