PROVENANCE:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986). The bowl was purchased by Nydell at an auction in June 1959 at the mansion, Aspenäs, owned by the Major Yngve Tellander. The landlord had earlier bought this object from the Swedish zoologist and ethnographer, Eric Mjöberg (1882-1938).
