Folio (320x250 mm). Illustrated by Raoul Dufy with 24 woodengravings in colour including the frontispiece. Wrappers bound in. Limited edtion of 233 copies, this is the "exemplaire d´artiste" signed by the publisher.
Bound with original printed wrappers in green/blue full morocco with title in gilt on spine, upper edge silver, otherwise untrimmed (Ole Olsen, Co´libri, 1982). Paper case with blue leather on spine, partly faded and worn.

The last work to be illustrated by Dufy.
Ole Olsen (1932-2009), Danish artist, bookbinder, worked amongst others for the famous Swiss binder Hugo Pellers. He also worked as a teacher at Galleria del bel Libro og Scuola d´Arte per Legatori Artistici in Ascona in 1967-71. In 1972 he opened the book gallery Co´ libri.
