8:o (about 205x150 mm.). (4), (1)-282, (1)-262, (1, last blank leaf missing) ll. 2 titles with woodcut printer´s device. Some nice woodcut initials.
Contemporary brown calf, somewhat worn, gilt faded (oxidated) borders and decorations, french lilly within ovale frame on upper board and year 1588, another decoration within ovale frame on lower board, new ties, gilt somewhat faded spine in five compartments, faded gilt gauffered edges. Missing last endpaper. Title to vol. I mended in outer margin. Last 10 leaves in vol. II dampstained and worn in upper outer corner. Minor foxing.Some underlinings in text. Some near contemporary marginal annotations. Bookplate of Roman Kaczmar.
