Small 4:o (about 218x140 mm.). One title within wide woodcut figurative border, all three with woodcut printer´s device. 4 woodcut maps, of which 3 folding. Numerous woodcut illustrations by Tobias Stimmer
Contemporary roll-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, somewhat worn, brass clasps and fittings (one clasp missing), brass centerpieces and corner fittings (missing 2 corner fittings), blank spine in five compartments. First title with mended tears and mended lower outer corner ( some foxing and spotting). Some marginal tears. Some foxing or spotting. Old underlinings and marginal annotations. At the beginning 9 mostly near contemporary manuscript leaves. Old signatures and annotations on inside of covers and endpapers. Signatures on about 5 pages of Fredericus Mellenius. Library stamp of Roman Kaczmar.
