Folio (about 385x242 mm.). (2), 3-679, (1 blank), 1-96, (128, last blank, lacks last blank leaf), (2), 3-455 (pp. 440-447 omitted at pagination), (1 blank), 1-96, (116, three last blank) pp. Titles with woodcut printer´s device. Some nice woodcut initials.
Contemporary richly blindtooled pigskin over wooden boards, slightly worn, on upper board in black the initials MBID and year 1580, brass clasp and fittings (3 clasps missing), spine in six compartments, some damages at head on vol. IV, manuscript title in upper compartments, lacks endpapers in vol. IV and first endpaper in vol. II. Partly some dampstaining in upper margin, mostly in vol. IV. Minor foxing. A few pages with old underlinings in text in red or black in vol. IV. Library stamp "Bibliothek der Fürsten- u. Landesschule in Grimma"on titles, library stamp of Roman Kaczmar on inside of upper boards. 2 volumes.
Not complete. Only vol. II and IV of 4.
