Publisher´s red-brown full calf, gilt spine with title label, intarised design in gilt grey leather on front board together with the monogram of the artist, spine faded with some spots, only slight wear. Broad-margined print on better creme paper, text in black on dark beige background, decorative initials in black and red all the way through, paginated in red.
Dedication in pencil from Gallen-Kallela to Eric von Rosen on half title. Monogram in pencil of Akseli Gallen-Kallela on leaf 4. Bookplate of Eric von Rosen (Rockelstad). Limited edition of 100 copies from the de-luxe edition.

De-luxe edition of the famous so-called ´Jewelry Kalevala´ (Koru-Kalevala ), main work of illustrations by the Finnish artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela (1865-1931).
A new edition of this rare publication was first released in 1984, also by Werner Söderström.
