4to. 260 x 190 mm. (8), 83 pp. 10 engraved plates. Engraved vignette on title, 2 engraved vignettes and 1 engraved initial in the text. Somewhat worn mottled contemporary calf with gilt spine with red label and red edges. In marbled later slipcase. Some foxing and stains. Author´s name written with ink on title. Small tear in top margin p. 37. Old note with ink on front fly leaf.
Plates after designs by Boucher, originally used by Carl Gustaf Tessin for his "Faunillane" (1741).
