61 PHOTOGRAPHS FROM GERMANY, BELGIUM AND FRANCE. 1885. A portfolio containing 61 mounted albumen photographs with 3to 6 photos on each of the 14 boards. Photographs sizes varies, but c. 95x150 mm.
Portfolio in green cloth with flaps, c. 320 x 470 mm. Handwritten text /captions below each photo.
Nicely executed photos depicting famous buildings, castles, art and wiews. An album compiled after an European tour by a tourist in the summer of 1885 (dates on the back of some of the boards). The photos depict Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Nuremberg, Dresden, Colon, Koblenz, The Rhein, Saxon Switzerland, Niederwalddenkmal, Paris and Brussels.
