8vo. 185 x 123 mm. (4), 312 pp. 34 plates, partly coloured. 23 leaves at the end with all illustrations on grey paper. Green near contemporary morocco with gilt spine with raised bands, gilt-framed boards with gilt inner dentelles, top edge gilt (G. Hedberg).
Total edition was 1062 copies. This is one of 55 (nris. 31-85) copies printed on Japon impérial or vélin teinté, with the etchings in 3 states, this copy bearing the number 81 and signed F. F. [=F. Ferroud].
This copy seemingly over-complete as 7 of the 9 plates come in 4 instead of 3 states.
