Two partly hand-coloured engraved maps joined together with large figurative cartouche and four windheads, c. 460x965 mm. Framed (no glass).
Probst´s rare edition is revised and updated from Lotter´s editions of the map. Showing captain Cook´s travels on each of his three voyages and the first printed map mentioning Hawaii (O-Why-hee).
