PHOTOGRAPHS OF EGYPT. 42 albumen prints of Egypt, c. 1890, size about 210x270 mms. All photographs are prints for the tourist trade with printed text and mounted on stiff boards in an album. Most photographs with inventory number and text (many faded or partly faded, some spotting /and foxing, a few with minor damages to corners, minor tear to a few). Boards partly foxed to margins, some spotting, last board more.
Album in folio (c. 415x305 mms), contemporary black half calf, lacking spine and lower board loose, partly worn and soiled.

Images include views of the Egyptian pyramids and monuments, views from Cairo, the Nile, scenes with Egyptians.
