I. 3 titles with engraved vignette, 3 engraved vignettes, 123 engraved plates (all, mostly browned in vol. I, lesser in II-III, some foxing and spotting), 2 folding engraved maps (browned).
Contemporary brown mottled calf, worn, gilt frames, partly cracked joints, gilt edges of covers, somewhat faded richly gilt spines in seven compartments, partly some damages at head or foot, speckled edges.
Some minor marginal dampstaining, minor foxing amd spotting. Armorial bookplate of "Owen Williams Esq.r, Temple House, Berks" and bookplate of "Bankjurist Axel M. Åströms bibliotek". 3 volumes.
The spine enumeration wrong according to Hyde, vol. II=III, and vol III=II.
