(26), (1)-389, (1), (32), (1)-384, (14), (1)-286, 289-389, 400-414, (36), (1)-285, 288-341, (1, blank page) pp. 10 partly folding plates (complete, only slight foxing, slight tear to 1 plate, 4 plates on two sheets in vol. II ), 1 mounted engraved vignette of Cape of Good Hope in vol. I.
Contemporary brown half leather, partly worn and rubbed, sparsely gilt spines with red title labels, vol III with small damage to upper edge, speckled edges. All volumes lacks first endpapers. Title and a few leaves in vol. I somewhat dampstained. Partly some foxing, a few spots in the beginning of part III. Old owner´s note on inside of boards (name overwritten), Arenander dated 1791.

Provenance: Nils G. Ahlin (Ulriksfors, Sweden, owned the largest private book collection in north of Sweden, about 6000 volumes).
Erik Hallqvist, Östersund (born 1887), bookstore (the grandfather of the current owner), had a bookshop since 1907. He bought Ahlin´s collection in 1942 and was interviewed in Östersund-Posten on January 28: "The public may have an idea of the size of the collection, when I mention that I needed 14 fully loaded taxis to get the books home".
