8:o. Steel-engraved frontispiece portrait, extra engraved title with vignette, 12 wood-engraved plates Luke Fields (all).
Blue printed original decorated wrappers, partly somewhat worn, spines with damages at head and foot.
With the very rare "Cork Hat" slip in part II but without the 8 pp. advertisements in part V. 1st issue wrappers to part VI: "Price eighteen pence" is pasted on. 6 parts loose in later red half morocco case, gilt back in six compartments. First edition in the original parts.

All published. The novel was unfinished at the time of Dickens´s death on 9 June 1870, and his ending for it is unknown.
Provenance: Sten Ringselle (1949-2017), Swedish antiquarian bookdealer who in 1992 opened his shop Antiquaria in Gothenburg.
