Later (late 19th century) red half morocco, somewhat worn, richly gilt spine in six compartments, upper edge gilt. Traces after removed bookplate on first endpaper.
Eckel pp. 154-156. "The scarcest and the costliest of all Dickens pamphlets". First edition of the first of Dickens´s plays to be publicly performed. Without the sometimes present frontispiece.
Provenance: Sten Ringselle (1949-2017), Swedish antiquarian bookdealer who in 1992 opened his shop Antiquaria in Gothenburg.
