Small 4to (270x175 mm). 3 engraved frontispieces, 336 steel engravings after Daubigny, Grandville, Trimolet, Steinheil, Boilly, De Beaumont, Meissonnier, a.o., and 183 music plates (some foxing and offsetting, mostly in the beginning). Probably washed.
Fine 20th century red half calf with richly gilt spines, marbled paper to boards, upper edges gilt (signed by H. Jensen, Denmark). In paper case, partly worn.

Sander 162. First edition. Sander mentions printed wrapper, those are not present here.
Probably bound by Henning Jensen, who started his bindery in 1951, he also worked with his daughter Hanne Jensen.
