Ill.ma che a giudicio di tutti gli huommi e il/ Mecenate de Virtuosi dedice il Giudicio Vnle di Michel´/ Angelo Buonaroti, accioche il concetto, c´ha´il Mondo del/ le Sue Magnanime qualita, uenga autenticato anche dal/ giudicio de gli Anglie e s´io conoscero gradita dall´ animo suo/ Generoso questa minima espressione della Somma osserua che pro/ fesso al di lei Nome non mancaro, Farbe magn. epiuiue dimostrazni/ A.V.S. One of 10 engravings (lettered A-L) after details from Michelangelo´s Sistine Last Judgment.
The plates by Ghisi lettered A-L could be joined up like a jigsaw puzzle to form a large image of the whole Last Judgment, which Michelangelo had completed shortly before the prints were made. These were Ghisi´s major project of the 1540s, and the most impressive of all the early prints made after the fresco. (British Museum, 1896,0511.382.1-12).
